The former Hansa towns Zwolle, Hattem, Deventer and Zutphen can easily be reached ( within an half hour). These cities have a rich historic town centre which is definitely worth a visit. Hattem (10km) offers three nice museums, like the Anton Pieckmuseum, the Voermanmuseum and the Baker’s museum.
We also recommand to visit Castle Nijenhuis between Heinoo and Wijhe. The museum ‘De Fundatie’ has a wonderful fixed collection and regularly varying exhibitions.
